Hi,

OK. Hate pining for votes, but I'm asking anyway. As this is a real David versus Goliath competition!

Just made finalist for the Beer & Brewer Magazine Best Microbrewery/Cellar Door in Australia/NZ.

Beer & Brewer Magazine - Vote

BEST MICROBREWERY/CELLAR DOOR
The Grove Vineyard

Margaret River
Australia
The Grove Margaret River Western Australia Vineyard Winery Distillery Restaurant

It's not the easiest vote to cast. But any support is appreciated.

Cheers,
Nik

Experts, does this look right?

Kinda just played it by ear while I was under there. RSB only came with 2 bolts in the linkages (instead of 4) so had to go to Bunnings and improv. They aren't strong enough though...

Anyone know where to get proper linkage bolts from?? I really don't want to drive the thing before I use proper bolts

They way you put it in looks right to me.

Close up of the offending bolt?

Don't have a closeup sorry.

It's a 3/8 bolt about 2.5" long. Half smooth and half threaded (not sure of the proper term).
Thing is, the spring washer and regular washer can't come off. The threaded part of the bolt is wider than the smooth so the washers can't be removed.

Any ideas?

Smooth part is called the shank.
It has a captive washer due to the rolled thread.

We used OUR OWN OLD MUSCLE CARS thanks very much!

Tacky; pfffft.

And we had our own Subaru and a few others. Nothing tacky about it. When you have you're own wedding you'll realise just how little difference it makes to your day.
Mine were free and came with drivers who were also great guests at our wedding. Total win.

Sig worthy.

The old ones are part of a pivot joint and can't be removed from what I can see...
I'll ring around tomorrow and see if anyone has some. Might end up at a wreckers

Perfect :)

You won't buy bolts at Cuntings.

You will probably find them at a specialist bolt shop, or a wrecker.

You couldn't use your old ones?

QFT!

Bunnings has **** all when it comes to bolts. As Alex stated, hit up a specialist bolt shop and get what you need.

The old ones have the rubber casing around the pivot joint. Hopefully there's a bolt place nearby
