help plz i just replaced knock sensor which was one problem but its hesitant in aceleration like a flat spot hold back sorta thing and idels like shit . changinge the knock sensor cleared up some prob and runs alot better but yeah still prob lil help much appreciated thanks

- faulty spark plug
- faulty ignition coil
- bad fuel
- faulty AFM
- blocked fuel line

there is lots mate...

How's about answering these ones..

- What car?
- What Engine?
- What year?

98 liberty rx 2.5 had service bout week or 2 ago plugs got changed mechanic checked leads and stuff i am thinking it mite be the 02 or the maf or it mite be the tps

Clean your AFM with some CO contact cleaner and reset your ecu

+1 on cleaning the air flow meter.

Failing that, get a compression test. Gen2 2.5s are known for doing head gaskets (my fiance's Gen2 Bilstein did one, as did her friend's Bilstein)

Pro Tip: You can also use Brake Cleaner to clean AFM, as it leaves no oily residue once blown off with compressed air.

the head gasket got done like 30k ago so i dnt think its head gasket and yeah gona give afm a clean when i get chance to as gotta go to shop and buy the contact stuff u am gona go back to mech aswell and do another dianostic on ecu to see what comes up first time we did it knock sensor come up so more problems all good but fact of owning a car

The O2 code is probably due to the dodgy AFM. This causes the ECU to fuel the engine incorrectly and freaks out the O2. (too rich or lean)

well hard to describe lol my english skills not the best the car feels hesitant like it holding back from under 3k revs but if i put me foot flat to floor it clears
