This is probably the only time my Mrs. has been happy with me changing the car.
Because I gave her my old Pioneer headunit with iPod input. :D

Rach told me last night I should put the spoiler on my car.

I think that's pretty awesome!

Also mentioned I was thinking of getting rid of my British car projects, and she got upset!!

With those staggered carbies, is the leftside carby feeding the right bank and the rightside carby feeding the left bank, kind of like adding longer intake runners?
(I have zero real clue as to what is going on, just trying to get my head around it)

Yerp. They had manifolds that moved, shifting intake runner lengths, changing torque/power.

Mini's don't really count with the other British cars :P

@ Adam

Regardless of what anyone with any mechanical knowledge says, I don't mind them :P haha.

Not getting into reliability and what not, i just like the look of them.

It's actually real, too. There's some back story to it in related links. Goes for about 5mins.

My fiance tried to buy back my first car - a 75 Monaro - and it still blows me away that she tried to get it back for me (despite her loathing old cars)

It's hard to have such an attachment to modern cars isn't it?

Though maybe I'm not old enough to understand yet. I've onl had 2 cars :P

Plus the minis.

Tasty HJ Monaro. Mandarin Red?? (GMH held that colour for years)

When I sold my first car (coupe in the avatar) the deal was I have first right when it goes on the market, just in case I want it back.

I want it back.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Even thought it's a POS and rustfucked now, I still want my HJ back.

I'd sell all the Subarus in the world for it.

Yup.

Eyes glued to the temp gauge, eyes glued to the other a$$holes on the road, sweating like a mofo stuck to the vinyl, no radio to listen to, shocking brakes, cammy engine with a tall 1st, fuel gauge falling like a stone..............DAMN ITS GOOD!

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Iain, Jase,

What are your thoughts on Liquid Injection LPG?

I've heard Subaru motors don't like Lpg.

And there's so much bad feelings towards LPG but I feel that might be from the vapor systems.

I'm considering it for the Mini. (coupled with some form of tinsel efi system)
