Karen Jennings, Unison's assistant general secretary, said Clarkson had spoken "almost like [late Libyan leader Muammar] Gaddafi would have spoken about demonstrators".
Everyone knows I dislike Clarkson and his God complex style, but why have him on a news show? Why? So he can make these sort of comments that get a big buzz and increase ratings. Simple as that.
Clarkson doesn't have a small army at his disposal that actually does go out and rape/murder uprising protesters in the street, so the parallel to Gadaffi is laughable.
Also, they apparently went to the Police and tried to file a report against Clarkson for it.
Seriously. If you take anything he says to heart, you're an idiot. Also, they should be getting on with their strike movement instead of jumping onto the first derogatory remark made in the media about them and completely derailing their focus.
