She has been HIT twice before but this is the first time being run over...
Just heard back from the vet. Amazingly, all legs are fine. It's her tail that is broken. Right at the base. So all the nerves controlling urinary systems are damaged. Would explain the poo and wee which she was lying in after it happened.
The tail is part of the spine which makes this a lower back injury and with her legs already being shot, there's a high possibility that shell be put down tomorrow.
I feel numb.

Hope she makes a full recovery. From memory, she was well-old wasn't she?
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

The news really really hypes up people's reactions.
When the one happened while I was over there, the guy we were staying with was outside and came running in all excited and was like, did you boys like that!!!

Bro!!! fingersJust ran over the dog.
Her back legs don't work at the best of times but they were pretty floppy...
3 of us got bitten pretty bad because she was in so much distress.
Left her at the vet on a drip hopefully she'll make it
Feck I feel terrible...
Worst way to start the holidays.
Off to get tetanus shots

Its a terrible accident that's occured and its important to know that your not to blame. Its an accident. Happens to the best of us, that's for sure!
Stay strong buddy, I know this would be hurting bad inside but whatever happens happens, and you just gotta take it one step at a time.

Hopefully she recovers, we were lucky that there was no permanent nerve damage.

Just hate that it's come to this.
Had a good chat with dad. With the way her legs were, this is probably the best thing for her.
It's a very difficult decision to put a dog down because she 'can't stand up properly'...feels really selfish even though she was in so much pain. Her face is always so smiley!
But now that there has been an accident it's better for her to go in peace rather than live in agony for a few more months.
Stupid thing is, she was sleeping right next to one of the wheels when it was parked in the garage. I called we out of the way so that I wouldn't reverse over her. She took a whole to get up and with my assistance she moved out of the road. I reversed out of the spot, put the car in D and started to go forwards. BOOM BOOM. Under both LH tyres she went. I thought it was an extension cord or something because we have painters here. Silence. Then all of a sudden she was screaming in pain.
Couldn't get out of the car fast enough and she was twisted completely around. Thought I had snapped her back.

Of course all four of us are running around trying to calm her down, getting towels and stuff but in her panic she sink her teeth into myself, sister and dad. Poor thing. Muzzled her up quick smart and she calmed down.
Wiped her backside up and lay her in the car and rushed her to the vet...
Sorry for the essay. It's good for me to talk it through though.
Blurrrgghhh

Did the physio help? I'm always a bit sceptical of physio...
No Jazzy Jeff!
Yeah physio really did help. Are you sure your aren't confusing physio's with Chiro's? Chiro's are dodgey.
Sig worthy.

At the end of the day, you're absolutely right - better to let her go peacefully alongside her loved ones rather than live in agony.
She's lived a damn good life surrounded by really great, loving people who've given her the best quality of life she could've wanted. Should be proud of that and no doubt her spirit will live on with you all.
All the best with it mate.
