Shaz - Although you'd know betterer, but I thought our credit rating went up to three A's (I don't like saying triple A... Because that's the name of a really scary operation).
So much to do at the new pad. Spak fill holes. Paint walls. Clean roof and gutters. Install gutter shields. Move in.
Argh!!

S&P downgrades big four from AA to AA- 2 Dec, 9:15am
Ratings agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) has reviewed the methodology for the ratings of banks across a range of different countries including Australia.
While the methodology has resulted in the major Australian banks receiving a one notch downgrade from AA to AA-, NAB remains a highly rated, profitable and well capitalised bank with strong funding and liquidity positions. This means we're still well placed to continue to support customers as usual.
Ratings agencies like S&P and Moody's express an opinion about the ability and willingness of an issuer, such as a bank or state or government, to meet its financial obligations in full and on time.
Each agency applies its own methodology in measuring credit worthiness and uses a specific rating scale to publish its ratings opinions. Typically, ratings are expressed as letter grades that range, for example, from 'AAA' to 'D' to communicate an agency's opinion of relative level of credit risk.
"While Standard & Poor's has changed their methodology - and therefore the credit rating of Australian banks - NAB remains in a strong position," explained Ross Brown, EGM Investor Relations.
Since announcing our strategic agenda in early 2009, we have strengthened our capital, funding and liquidity positions. This remains a core strategic objective. We've also increased customer deposits as a percentage of total funding and increased the length of term funding.
