Triple J used to be my favourite radio station. Now it just plays shit, be it hipster shit, electronic shit, weird shit for the sake of being weird, self absorbed indie shit, rap/hip hop shit, and it goes on. And their djs are universally all deadshits. Not. One. Good. Dj.
Second year in a row ill not be voting or listening to it. At least it isnt nova or 2dayfm i guess. Its getting close though
Ps adele has an amazing voice. I like her stuff as we should have more blues inspired music on the radio.
Less synth pop. More blues.

I would rather listen to the occasional shit song than listen to an ad or Kylefuckingsandilands.
I also like knowing a decent percentage of what they play is up and coming Australian music and giving new artist a go.

Thing is, ams, there is more than one occasional shit song for my tastes. And thats all it is. I probably should have put some massive disclaimer that my post pertains to my taste in music.
And while i listen to a local classic rock station (starfm for coasties) im not a 70s rock pig - i loved hearing Cypress Hill and Jurassic 5 on The Js. Or the fact a radio station had the balls to play Tool at 9am. Or the Dead Kennedys at lunch, followed by Jamiroquai. Now its all shit same sane folk crap that could be written or sung by the same emasculated dude.
And while Kyle might be King of the Dbags, JJJ djs arent far behind imo

Yeah Marv you have a point there, The J's is very self absorbed indie, it took them a while to get on the dubstep wagon, and they have a lot of bands who are just alternatively alternate. But I rate them above a lot of other stations, except Radio Metro, that shiz is whack.
Well here's half my list;
Gotye ft Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know
Guineafowl - The Lie Is
Matt Corby - Brother
Foster the People - Helena Beat
Jay Z ft Kanye West - Why I Love You
