hey fellas dont wanna seem like a dumb ass but the more i read itno this the more complicated it becomes....

what gearbox oil is suitable for a V6 (GC8) dccd box and diff (TY754VB1CA to be exact)?

im guessing just a good quality 75w90 will do but whats all this crap about lsd and hypoid compatibility?

im thinking to run in some 75w90 nullon stuff and make sure the cars in working order before i spend decent cash on some motul stuff (and i really dont wanna get the wrong motul stuff because its fairly expensive)

thanks in advance
Nick

I'm using the Motul 75-90 in my PPG straight cut box and played rear diff.
It was around $40 a liter but I was lucky to get some for $10 a liter so I grabbed 7 liters.
You should read a few build threads and get ideas from those.
There is normally info on fails in those too.

Multitrax.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Been good so far, and it gets use in some full tilt race cars that this oracle builds ;)

Multitrax is supposedly the OEM gearbox oil used in STis. It's designed with hypoid diffs like Subaru's in mind.

I've used a few different oils. I have Castrol Multitrax in the box now and a Nulon in the rear (plated) diff.

I've had Fuchs and Neo before and loved the Fuchs. The Neo was good, but not as good as the Fuchs IMO.
