be sure to use a lubricant when you claybar. On your soft Subaru (what looks like black in your av?) paint, you'll marr it up in no time. always follow up with a polish & wax, or a wax at the least.
take your time with it and enjoy it. Grab some beers and make a relaxing, and rewarding day of it.

Sig worthy.

Yeah I have a random full bottle of Meguiars Mist & Wipe on the shelf in the garage, must have come with a detailing kit in the past. So I figure I'll use that for the lubricant, which is how the Meguiars kit works. Claybars I grabbed off ebay 2 for $10 :P and the wax I got was the Collinite 845 also off eBay for $15. $25 total spend, will see how it comes out.

Glossworx soap
claybar
Slick synthetic quick detailer for lubricant and future quick detailing after washing
Blacklight ( will do paint cleansing, light polishing, gloss enhancer and synthetic wax/sealant)

Sig worthy.

So the blacklight does the polish and wax all in one? Wont need a more hardcore wax?

Sure does. Blacklight is pretty good shine wise. You could certainly put another wax over the top of it, but Id be surprised if you felt you needed too. What colour is the Lib?

if you did want another wax, my recommendation would be 5050. Best bang for buck wax Ive ever seen.

Sig worthy.

my stagea is silver also, and seriously after two coats of Blacklight youve got all the gloss, depth and clarity youre going to get. I wouldnt bother (and dont) with another wax,

Sig worthy.
