epic dive vid. Farked if id want to be that close to nurse sharks. I know theyre meant to be pretty placid, but still. You never know if youve got one on a bad day. Itd take your arm and leg for sure.

Sig worthy.

@Morgan - so is this The Island thing like a massive pontoon that gets motored out into the harbour? Or is it static?

Sig worthy.

I dunno hey, when you are there it is different Brett. Before I started diving out there I was a bit like hmmm wonder how I will be when I see a shark.... got out there for the first time when I was about 16 I think and have loved it ever since... they really don't worry you, you go too close and they get spooked and take off, if you stay calm and still for a bit they will come closer and have a look and will come within a foot or two... can be a pain when the current is a bit surgey, I have been pushed into the sharks a few times..just lucky it has been closer to their heads because they snap their tail in fright and take off very quickly.

Yea that's the one.

It's not MASSIVE but it's pretty decently sized.

I believe it can be moved around the harbour too.

"P-plater arrested over pursuit in Sydney"
http://news.ninemsn....rsuit-in-sydney

"The 21-year-old woman was charged with being unlicensed, stating a false name, dangerous and negligent driving."

Seriously, where do they pull their shit from?

Are you saying, how can she be unlicensed if she's a p-plater?

How can she be a P-plater if she is unlicenced.

All they are doing is making P-platers lifes dificult.

Boss said to me the other day "They dont just chase P-platers", and i responded with "If there are two identical cars going down the street, one with a P plate on it, and while your back is turned you hear tyres squeel. Which car would you suspect had done it?"
He didnt reply.

I would assume the P-plater.

Because it is more likely.

It just is.

Or so the media have led you to belive. there is a lot of stupidity that you never see coming from people with open licences. Saw a jeep light it up the other day coming out of the servo, nobody batted an eyelid at him, they stared at the p plater driving past.

You only hear and see P platers doing stupid shit, because thats what they/you focus on.

Just my morning Rant.

The media hasn't led me to believe it, I believe it all on my own.

The only news I get is listening to ABC local on my radio, and shit you blokes post on here.

I find it insulting that you truly believe I came to the conclusion that a p-plater is more likely to do something silly at the wheel, from watching Today Tonight style media.

I came to that conclusion over the last 10 or so years of driving around.

But do you purposefully focus on P platers?

There are just as many crazy open licence people who do stupid shit. you just dont see it because your not watching them, or they do it on a back street where nobody is looking.

Have you thought that maybe she was a P Player, lost her license for something, then was caught driving unlicensed?

Morning GT

I'm watching everyone on the road, we don't all drive around checking to see if it's a p-plater - I only did that when I was one - for the sole purpose of finding out how old the person driving was, then checking if she was hot, you're making assumptions and borderline accusations based on nothing more than what you feel.

Everyone my age or older is fully aware that more P-plate incidents are occurring these days because they make you guys have those plates for bloody two years or something crazy like that. You double the time period on which someone is under that probation, and it's an obvious trigger to increase the amount of offences from that group.

A mature age p-plater doesn't really have a leg to stand on either, as they've almost certainly lost their licence. Perhaps an international getting their licence for the first time, or someone who's moved away from a city with a transit system sufficient for them to not need a licence. But generally, they done goof'd up to lose their licence.

I understand you feel targeted, and that silly people are everywhere - no arguments here, but in response to your question about which car is more likely to be doing the burnout - riddle me this;

Who would you rather be doing it;

Open licence holder 20 years driving experience;

P plater with 6 months behind the wheel.
