I don't understand what you are getting approved... what is this log book approval thing?

To get a license... You first get your L plates, you can only drive when supervised by someone with an open license, you need to do 100 hours of driving and record them in a logbook along with the person who is supervising and the rego number of the car you drove.
Then you have to send away the logbook so they can go "Yep thats 100 hours and the cars/drivers exist".
Once they have done that you can go for your P test, once you pass that you can drive around on your own, without having to piss someone off.
Its going to take them 4 weeks to read 4 pages and add together 100 hours of driving...

I know how much the post count means to him.
Ren-Dog, that is insane, must be new thing because only about 2 or 3 years ago you would take the log book to the RTA with you and they would flick through it real quick and you were done.

Yeah thats dumb to... considering it would be heaps faster for me to walk into the local office and go "Oi im done", then they would go "Well done, you can go for your test!".

Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,right off.
