Subaru Australia has announced added value to the entry-level Subaru Liberty Exiga. It now comes standard with a reverse camera and increased connectivity.

The Subaru Liberty Exiga is the six-seat version of the Liberty wagon. It comes in two variants, the 2.5i and the 2.5i Premium, both equipped with a 2.5-litre boxer engine producing 129kW and 229Nm.

Both the Exiga 2.5i and Exiga 2.5i Premium come standard with a reverse camera displayed on a 4.3-linch LCD screen in the dash. As part of the new unit, there’s also USB and Bluetooth compatibility and audio streaming, auxiliary jack for an iPod/MP3 player, and voice command.

The revised models now also come with dusk-sensing headlights for added safety.

Pricing for the Exiga is as follows (excluding on-road costs):

Liberty Exiga 2.5i – $37,990
Liberty Exiga 2.5i Premium – $42,490
