There was another thread discussing them before the group buy was setup something along the lines of "alex is toying with the idea of new speakers"

Check out that thread, quite a few of us already have them and personally i rate them well.

Interested how a group buy would work? Does one person buy all and send out? Or could we all pay into an account and then get a reciept which we could use to get the speakers at our local Jaycar?

Sorry to go a little off topic but you would be better off buying these Kicker 6" 2 ways from your local JB Hi Fi or even buying them online and getting them delivered.

A few of my mates have them and i personally think they sound better than the 6" kevlar speakers that they have at JayCar and for $60 you really can't go wrong.

Yeah, JB had a 30% off car audio sale last week too, so if that is still on they may be even cheaper again.

Says $85 here too.

Problem with comparing speakers between people is audio is a very subjective thing. Some people will listen to a speaker and claim it's the height of audio clarity, and to others it'll be muddy and unpleasant.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

I just want some speaker which wont get a buzzing after 6months of use like all the ones I purchased last year are now doing. I dont hammer them either.

I can order from Jaycar's distributors through my work if people are still interested in this. Minimum order for the best price is 5 rather than 10 and you'd be looking at around $58 for the 6" Kevlar coax inc GST and freight to me. Shipping out to you would be on top of this. Or I'm in Brisbane for pickup. Let me know if anyone would be interested in this.
