Will more likely look like this. Nissan Maxima, Toyota will hopefully come to the party with the Camry. I'd like to see some Euro in there too. Doubt Subaru will enter the Gen5 Liberty, but that would be nice/ugly too.

I think a common mistake people make is thinking the V8's used in the V8 race cars have anything to do with the road cars.. they don't.. wouldn't matter if the car company didn;t have a V8 or if they did because they don't use their own engines, all control engines and all 5.0L pushrod OHV 7500RPM limiter. Any manufacturer can come in and have a go, they just have to source a race engine from one of the engine building teams.

They are not really Holden's or Ford's either!

Most use the same V8 race engine from the US.

I was not looking forward to this at all, we used to be a UNIQUE series where there was the battle of red and blue, now we are just turning into every other racing series. not happy.
