I had a lot of fun doing it too.
However, reality struck, and I started to pay it back.
It was paid back by the time I was 23.
Lesson to the kiddies - Don't take out stupid amounts of unsecured debt. You'll spend 10 times as long paying it back, compared to the time it takes to spend it.
I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

I don't really know what I want to cook. I just can't afford to buy spenno stuff at the moment. Was thinking pastas and lasagne, curries, burgers, pizza. All pretty cheap stuff. Plus it all freezes well, so extra can be made!
We are actually doing pretty well

When I turned 18, I racked up $60k in debt by my 19th birthday. Not for a house either. Just stupid shit.

Yup. I learned this one as well mate. Just about out of debt now and have been paying stuff back since I was 19 and I got my first full time job. 3 months in to that I got a credit card and on it went from there. Not having the Suby has helped immensely. Not going near finance again until I buy a home.

Just be careful dude, eating an abundance of pasta/red meat WILL do you harm. Those are some of the hardest things for your body to digest. It WILL catch up to you if you are constantly having dairy/red meat/wheat in your meals.
Goat is a fantastic cheap meat to use for slow cooked curries. I actually prefer it to beef/lamb if it's good goat. And, for some reason, people in Australia don't really care for goat, so it's cheap as chippies. Just needs to be cooked lower and slower.

You can just chuck anything in there.
It will even make bricks tender and juicey.

Maybe Ren should start slow cooking bricks? they are possibly within his price range ie. Free if he can find some laying at job sites.

I had the same issue. Got a call from AUSTRAC asking where I was getting all my money from because I was paying back massive lump sums.
