Do you know what year the seats are supposed to be? Early GD rails were apparently interchangable with late model GC8 rails, which sit lower.

Really? That would be awesome!

Nope, haven't touched the lights. I will inspect them ASAP.

I am also looking at hiring a steam cleaner this weekend to do the carpets/seats etc. Has anyone ever done this or something similar?
Also, the guys who have used claybars on their vehicles, what product did you use and where did you get it from?

Matt and I hired a steam cleaner a few weeks ago to do both of our cars, worked great! You'd be surprised how much human slime comes out of everything.
I did a claybar on my car the other week for the first time and would recommend it to anyone, paint came up fantastic. I used the Mothers pack as it comes with 2 claybars. I'll definitely be doing it more often now!

Also, got an STI white faced dash cluster off dja. All good except the airbag light wont turn off. Would anybody have a solution to this?

Acccording to Subaru this can occur when the circuits on the dash cluster are fried or in my case was just a loose connection on one of the cluster connectors.

As my old boss used to say, there should be an occupation for Wire Jigglers.

Yeah it pays to be patient sometimes lol

Rug doctor from bunnings or woolworths....find the rug doctor site and itll tell you your local stores....you rent the machine with the upholstery hand piece, and buy anti foam solution and carpet shampoo and upholstery shampoo which you buy when you get the machine

Hiring the rug doctor was the best cleaning choice I've ever made, followed by the claybar..

Here are some pics!

That's a great looking Outback Sam! Still need a soundclip of the exhaust though :P

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Looking at a full changeover or just engine? V7 sti cuts are getting cheap. That's what I'll be looking at doing when the sti sells.
