in the process of ordering wheels thatll clear my brembos.

from much research i found that superturismo GT's with an et48 will clear the brakes as written on NASIOC

however i want sexy white ones like this...superturismo wrc

now these DO come in 5x100 pcd but the offset is 45.

standard subaru wheels including the 5x100 mistical BBS STi wheels have an offset of 53 and thats really flush with the gaurd. im worried that the wrc's will poke out of the gaurd causing me scrubbing grief as well as looking shit.

so if its not too much could a few of u blokes post up some pics of your wheels on the car and note what your offset is, so i can see what im dealing with.

thanks
Nick

An offset of +45 shouldn't have any problems, how wide are the rims?

Here's a guy I know's GC8 with 17x8 +35 wheels and 215 wide tires:

+53 is nowhere near flush with the guard.

How wide are they?

The pic I posted? They're rota grids, shouldn't have any problems with that wheel size, as that's the size I'll be going next too haha. 215/45 tires will fit nicely, might need to roll your guards a bit.

Will be a fair while before I get them, I'll hopefully get some black enkei rpf1's, black rota g-forces...or whatever pops up for reasonably cheap in black, gunmetal or charcoal haha.

they're 17 x 7.5 et 53 its on a 215 tire, it scrubbed pretty badly around hard corners espesially when loaded!

do you know if old mate had any issues with scrubbing? im assuming his suspension was stiff as for it not to happen

Bit of camber and rolled guards and they fit no problems.
Honestly that width and offset is close to stock with the wheels you're buying so if it scrubs just roll the guards a touch.
