Multiple rims like that were used by STi. S201 had the 17x7s, S202 had a different style, and were a 17x8. S203 I think went back to that style, but used 18x8 to clear the brembos. S401 had a slightly different style (12 spoke rather than 10, and a little bit of dish) and were a 18x7.5. S402 were that style, but 18x8. Most late model factory STi wheels are a +55 or +53 offset though. Its the factory BBS in-house wheels that are the +48 offset (ET48).
STi used BBS as their manufacturer, but gave them specific figures to work with. So a regular BBS wheel may not clear brembos on a suby purely because the offset isn't designed for subies. It may look identical, but they are not the same deal.
This is why STi factory wheels are so damned expensive from Subaru. They are limited production runs essentially. The B4 BBS wheels were exactly that. The wheels on the B4 here were ordered by Subaru Aust, and were never released in Japan. There was a similar set made for the JDM, but they were a 16x7 rim, not a 17x7.
