Sorry to be a thread zombie but was wondering if anyone has installed an after market head unit and amp while useing the OEM harness ?
As the words of Emperor Palpatine, can it be done?

Yes it can be. Use the website in the OP to identify the speaker wires to hook up to the amp, and just buy a generic subaru wiring harness adaptor from supercheap or similar to attach to the head unit.
