Hi all, got a wee problem.

Took the seats out of the outback, found out that I pulled out one of the plugs for the elec seats.

Has anyone done a seat conversion or knows how to wire up the drivers seat?

Cheers

Darko

Plug is ok, it's the other side of it that ripped off.

Do you guys know if the electrics of Gen4 seats are compatible with older models such as my Gen3? ie; will the side airbags still work, or will it be flashing red on my dash?

I know I shouldn't doubt our resident Subaru guru, but are you sure Ben? My research on this site tells me otherwise.

I'm talking about the fronts only BTW.

I can definitely confirm they don't fit shiv... I tried fitting GTs in my gen3 n no luck but ended up swapping them to Ben n getting those Gen3 GTB seats...

Speaking of which Ben, got any leather wrx or Gen3 Gt-b seats at work?

Morgan, dunno if you'd be keen but Im putting putting the GD WRX seats from the liberty into the foz and returning the liberty back to the standard seats. My factory XT black leather seats will be up for sale then if your interested.

Cheers dude but I reckon the standard leather ones are more uncomfortable than the plain material ones.

Aek has GD WRX ones in his XT and they're the ones I'm after ;)

Mines MY04 with side airbags...

I agree with Morgan the leather seats are harder than the cloth seats...

The Gen3 GTB seats i had were pretty comfy...
