Nik is probably one of the few people on here that is not a hater and has actively stood up in support of XV dude.

So Katie just got called into her managers office and spoken to because she leaves at 5pm every day.
Her office hours are 8:30 - 5 and she is on a certain wage.
She was told that either she stays in the office past 5pm or her wage goes down.
Surely her boss has zero grounds to stand on?

Brown pants were brown!
Does her contract state reasonable unpaid overtime anywhere?
Posted 30 May 2012 - 12:09 PM
Morgrain, for me personally that would be alarm bells shit when they start trying to pull that crap.
If her contract was signed as office hours 8:30-5pm on X wage, it is illegal for them to say "do more hours or we will cut your pay".
As much as KT has a leg to stand on, fighting that with what sounds to be a total shitbag of a human for manager will probably just end in a hostile work place.

LOL. theAll the work is in Sydney though
hahahahahahahahahahaha so Naive Mr Morgan, the same happens at many companies, senior management sit around patting each other on the back for a job well done, the high turnover at staff obviously has nothing to do with the conditions and pay set out by them..... LOLSurely when there is such a high turnover they realise that something isn't right?!
