It's done less than 10,000km and has been stored in zero-light and climate controlled storage.

Still not $85k but that must be some good condition car.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Racheal has a Dell Inspiron 13z. Seems pretty decent, she basically does the same as that, email, browsing and word/excel whatever.

http://www.dell.com/...nspiron-laptops

Around the price you're looking at.

EDIT: The screen on hers is a little small for my liking, maybe think about the 14z.

Get the upgraded hard drive/ram for a bit extra though. (the $799 one in the middle)

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Yeah, that was why I was leaning at the ASUS, 15.6" screen... probably not very powerful or whatever. I don't know.

HP makes very good computers. I own a HP desktop and laptop, both run awesome and do everything I need at a good price.

Shaz will quit smoking when Rendawg loses his virginity.

You're probably completely correct, but I haven't had a very good experience with them.

Yep i've not had fantastic experience with HP either.

Dell is a cheap 'good' laptop.

Toshiba is a good laptop but more expensive.

15.6" screen on a laptop is fairly big and big means heavy and big also means your battery life will suffer a little (unless they put more cells in the battery in which case it will be even heavier again).

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

What about this one, inspiron-m511r, ams? Can't get to a link like yours.

I use it as a desktop essentially, it's always plugged in unless we're travelling - and even then, its from the airport to the hotel - prugg it in! I can handle heavy.

Inspiron 15R? We like to watch movies on it while away, so I kind of want the screen size.

The second from the left. $764.

What's up with AMD? I've got it on mine and know it's not fantastic - but why?

Also, walk outside and see horse trotting past your car :P

Yes. Do it. It has i7, 4gb ram, 500gb hard drive, 6-cell battery - they are all good specs.

I'd suggest paying the extra $58 and get a 2yr warranty though...you just never know.
