Hi there,

I'm looking at getting another Subi for myself.. i've had a '99 B4, now I have a '01 Outback H6 now i'm looking at upgrading to a '08 Legacy 3.0 Spec B Wagon...

She's a very nice looking car, the exterior is that dark graphite metallic colour and she has those big 18" stock rims.

With 75,000km on the clock, i'm going to be paying ~$29k NZD, but i'm going to try drill them down to $27k (Seeing as they have another one there with a bit higher K's for only $23k.

BUT, my question is that im worried about, when taking her for a drive, under a high rev range she shifted quite hard between 2nd and 3rd, but im guessing this is because the transmissions selecting a new gear set or something? It's a quick sharp thump, under light acceleration it's smooth as but just at higher revs its hard.. its a 5 speed AUTO box by the way.

It was an ex-lease car, well serviced so it looks all good.

Any help / insight or 'bewares' would be appreciated :)
