That 6 block is on ebay for about $300.
Myer has them for $420 (down from $600).
We got them for a wedding present so not sure.
Worth a tad more than $180... they are sweet knives.
Just went by my 2012 wholesale catalogue.

I didn't say there's anything wrong with Global, I use them in the kitchen. For a long term knife I go for cuisinart - but seriously, I'm high turnover on knifes, I only keep three good knives maintained, the rest suffer all sorts of shit, cutting on stainless, cutting on plates, etc. etc.

The issue I have with the Globals, is that they chip way too easily.. you can't use them to cut a leather shoe like they do on TV.. or a Hammer.
