haha Josh. You missed.

:P

Left over nachos for lunch. YUM.

Anyone keen for a quick chuck together should make this.

Fry 1 diced onion, Add 250G Mince Brown it, Then 1tbsp of tomato paste, 1/2 sachet of taco seasoning, can of diced tomatoes. Simmer till thicker.

Chuck it on some corn chips, add cheese, melt in oven.

NOM!

You seem to be assuming that small companies are writing a profit.

Swing and a miss, sir. Swing and a miss.

Indeed, I understand what you are getting at.. it will also depend on why the business is not making a profit, If it is because the business is purely struggling than it would not matter what time of year you run up expenses, it is going to hurt.... if the business is not making a profit because it is being purposely run at a loss aka re-investing in itself for growth (Hi Fortescue!) so that they can declare that they didn't make a profit then once again it really won't matter what time of year the cost is incurred.... It may not be a favourable cost as it isn't one that is needed in order for the business to declare that it didn't run in the green but if you are told that you need to spend the cash I just don't see how the time of year matters unless you were hoping to run it into the following year instead of writing something else off in which case you just don't pay the invoices until after July 1 as a lot of businesses do.

Indeed, I understand

The point is, a week before EOFY, you've already spent the affordable and accrued expenditure through resources, if you haven't then you're an idiot or publicly listed (as you have stated), by incurring more cost below your tax deficit you expose yourself to scrutiny.

Paying an invoice in July does NOT equal being invoiced in July.

"any unpaid invoices as at 30 June each year – for example,
if you receive an invoice in June 2012, but you do not pay
that invoice until some time in July 2012, you report that
payment in 2012-13 Taxable payments annual report"

Just got given a Corporate Card at NAB.

SPEND ALL THE MONIES!

Funnily enough, I can actually take customers out to lunch, and spend $150 per person. Awesome.
