Mate had a turbo one, was Posted Image'ing rig.
 


I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! If you want slow mo, get something that shoots at 60fps or more!

Yeah, I mainly wanna use it to make some sweet vids.

Nothing serious, but would like the ability to do phase in and out of slomo and stuff like that.


I think that's all in the editing stage.

I've used both contour and go pro and for ease of use I'd say the contour is easier to use. Not sure wat the difference is in the editing stage as my computer is way to slow to edit or play the videos in full 1080p quality. In the end it all comes down to personal opinion and haters are always going to hate.

Yeah, i've got the original GoPro, not the Hero2 though.

The Countour seems good, but very similar to the GoPro2. I like the idea of having the Mic In on the new one. The thing that shits me the most about the old GoPro was simply the sound quality. It was fuggin terrible.

The GPS Countour is expensive! $649!

I was reading into the Contour a bit, and they've mentioned something about having it connect to you iPhone, so you can see the video you're recording, as you go? Anyone know anything more about that?

The GPS Countour is expensive! $649!


Buy online. The base contour is still awesome. And the sound quality is ok. One good thing about the contour is that there is no case for normal use so there is not as much fogging on the lens. The only time the contour fogged up on me was web I walked from out side to inside at the snow.

Yep. There is a 2 km range I think. U don't get this option with the base contour but the GPS and the pro have this option. I'm pretty sure u can replay the videos on your iPhone and change the setting on your contour.

With the base version u have to connect it to the computer to change settings like picture quality and things like that

Mic in on the hd2 is a pain. Need a skeleton case. Which means no water proof.

Plus you then need to buy a mic.

Wifi back pack for the GoPro has the control with phone feature. But they haven't release the app yet. I've got the wifi. And it's handy. But bought it for the iPhone control.

the iPhone play back is the good thing. There isn't much difference between the two and it all comes down to personal preference. If I have a gopro already and have all the mounts I'd say get the hero2
