hahahaha I know, My mate had his tent burnt down after the race.. lucky he had already packed everything up from it.Hahaha it probably is.
I want to go back there. I was only 15 when I went to bathurst so couldn't fully enjoy it.
They burn everything after the race.
They have fire fights of a night, they get rolls of toilet paper and soak them in kerosene and throw them around at night next to the camp ground, last time I camped up there they burnt down a tree and a car (one that they had taken with them to do burnouts in then set fire to after the tyres popped) they also threw a full 9kg gas bottle onto the fire open, it didn't explode hey, just shot out like a 5m long fire ball for ages.

You leave anything unattended after the race, it WILL be on fire by the time you get back to it.

Agreed, I was pretty much expecting it to. My speakers are being annoying and not making noise this morning so I wasn't sure.
