Now the gtb wagon is gone and having spent months before and some after searching and having no luck finding the 08 sti wagon i wanted , i bit the bullet and bought this :

Knowing some have a luv/hate (styling wise) thing with this model its starting to grow on me so the new ride..................................

2011 br gt premium , sitting at docklands waiting for it to be ready to go

will be starting a new thread in builds soon, with updates as this becomes something more than it is now

already planed for sti lip, rear tailgate spoiler, new grill and just deciding on what wheels to go with.

Plenty of other ideas as to what direction to take this, but being a daily drive there are some limits.

People may hate on the Gen5, but not many of them can actually afford to buy an almost new GT. I am sure with some tasteful mods you can make it look better :) they have grown on me a little more, but mostly because all the other cars have gone that way now with the insect eyes.

Congrats on the new purchase!

You are right, the look does grow on you.

Will be interested to see where you will go with this in terms of mods and improvements!!

Thumbs up here!

I think with some nice wheels and more low, maybe some dark tints, and it would look good mate. Ridiculously comfy. Will make for an awesome daily.

Cheers,
Shazza

Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Got to admit the budget did have to stretch a lot to afford this ............. and subaru have striped out this car compared to other earlier models , seems reverse sensors and a cam and now the norm?( hell people cant drive any more ) lol
But yes tinting wheels and many hours spent cruising japanparts/importmonster getting a few ideas as to ways to improve the look and inject some suby goodness into this may help

cant wait till i get my hands on it :)

btw if any one wants to see the new brz in the flesh docklands have on there now, all i can say is nice very nice, seems subaru are going back to the dna on this one!

Nice wagon. Gotta say the gen 5 is really not as bad as people make it out to be.

Depends on what sort of impression you are trying to make. Racer styled or VIP? How about some Work Emotion Kiwami (super concave) in bronze with lowish offsets :) or Work VSXX :)

BTW, I assume you are also lowering the car as well?

I'd like to see something like the below Enkei Rpf01 in maybe 18 or 19 x 9 or something.

wil deff looking more towards a vip look wheel, though its just made it much harder after seeing the kawami, works and now the rpf01 :) as for lowering car already comes with blistiens which are lower that standard factory height.
Depens on how the rims fill the gaurds, if i go lower yet
