I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

We put rach's car into the mechanic last week to get a pretty bad shake looked at. They changed some shit, charged us $200 and it was fine. Until it came back 2 days later. Back in today, and saying it could be a wheel balance (doubt it because they said it was fine last time) or something else and could be another $150 to fix.

The annoying thing is, aparantly they aren't allowed to test drive the cars on the streets because of an Insurance thing. They don't seem dodgy, and her parents always use them. But im still skeptical! How the Posted Image do you tell if you have fixed the problem, or even figure out what the problem is without driving a car?

What the Posted Image are they talking about? Every tyre shop/exhaust shop/ susp. shop/ mechanic... I've ever been to can drive the car?

thought it was pretty absrurd. Maybe I'll get her to take it elsewhere if this doesn't fix the problem.

How someone can tell you it will be $150 (or any price for that matter) without knowing what the problem is.... is beyond me?

If they don't have insurance to road test cars to see if the fault is gone, go elsewhere. Thats dodgy as fsck.

Leigh smashes the piss out of my car every time he comes here. He used about a fifth of a tank in ten minutes.

Will do. She's left it with em today, and I'm not even gonna bother asking her to try taking it elsewhere now. Because I know what the response will be.

The thing is, it's not a small workshop. I think it's part of the dealership! (flame suit engage) So it's not some dodgy establishment with no insurance!
