Hai all.

I <3 wankels.

It can't be helped.

I once hated them with a vivid passion. You name it, I know every taunt, because I used to sling it with the best of them.

But I'm now a convert.

Thanks to this thing.

Ahh rotors. In my group of mateswe have a RX3, 626(13B), Hilux (13B) My00 WRX, RS sedan, RS wagon, Mine and GX wagon.

So its a Subaru V rotor war all the time.

And I got Suspended this Year for Drawing Rotors all around the school. It took them a few months to track dwon whop was drawing this "sign". But eventually caught me out.

As pictured, i was caught drawing this on the wall at school, So i had to spend a few hours after school Painting the Whole wall with only a small paint brush.

Rotors are awesome little things. Can make a fair bit of power without a turbo and there onle like 1.3L (well some). Favourite rotor has to be mad mikes D1NZ car for sure, crazy crazy car.

Previous: 97 Gen 2 Liberty wagon, 89 NA MX5, 88 Toyota Cresta. Current: 04 turbo MX5, 02 Foz GT.

I went in my mates 626 tonight with a 13B turbo, ~230kw's at the rear. Just the feeling of getting pinned in your seat while the rear end steps out slightly is truly amazing, Something the subaru will never achieve. I wish i got a rotor

How much did he spend to get the car to that point?

And what are running costs/maintenance like compared to a suby-suby?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

My mate bought it like that last week.

However My other mate dave with the 13B lilux has spend well over 30k on the motor alone, then think about 9" rear diff and 4 link. respray and full leather trim.

quite an expensive hobby

LOL
Not much difference. Subaru's are about as reliable as well.
