Hey guys I'm after a top strut brace and found an 'alright' one for the price. But doesn't list 2001 RX 2.5 liberty only WRX's. I'm just wondering will this fit my car over the airbox and will I be able to close my bonnet without it bulging at any points.

Thanks in advance

That won't fit a Gen 3 but from memory, all GC Impreza's, Gen 1, 2 and 3 Liberty's will fit

Just to clarify, are we talking front or rear strut braces?

The eBay ad shows a rear brace, but you lads appear to be talking fronts.

Ha. Good point.

The add seems to have been removed but I was assuming front.

Mate I wouldn't even know what one of those would be worth but I would be willing to spend $150 obviously if it fits

So can anyone tell me what top strut braces may fit my gen liberty 2.5L? Luke has one off an imprezza but says may need some trimming to fit? Anyone know any other brands etc that will fit besides a Whiteline KSB-550 retail close to $200+

Thanks

That link doesn't work but I can quote myself again if I need to.

GC Impreza's will fit (that's the original, classic shape)
Gen 1 Libertys will fit
Gen 2 Libertys will fit
Gen 3 Libertys will fit

Sorry for the link not working I'm trying to work off my phone. There's no need to repeat yourself I've just had trouble looking for Gen 1,2 or 3 braces but found this GC8 imprezza brace. That's why I asked the question to clarify before purchasing it as well as I don't know much imprezza engines or engine bay set ups.

You want a matching STi rear strut brace too (not carbon, alloy)?
PM me.
