diagnose my issue.

Bought my bg legacy knowing it didn't boost correctly and hoped it would be a simple fix.
It wasn't.
The list.
Both turbo's were rebuilt prior to purchase, receipts to prove.
All vacuum lines have been mapped to correct points.
Turbo's have both been out and tested and work fine.
Bbod was bypassed and issue persisted.
Ecv and intake sensors were checked for operation and no probs there.
There has been more done but can't think of exactly what off the top of my head.
And go!

Have all the vac lines been replaced? if so, then maybe the restrictor pills are missing?

Bbod was bypassed and issue persisted.
Someone explain this concept to me please.
Why would you bypass?
How do you bypass?
What it achieves?
I assume it's a diagnosis thing.
Go!

Could be an AFM problem.

Thanks, are restrictor pills readily available? If so I'd like to replace all the lines some time soon.
Ive seen restrictor pills for sale recently on uklegacy.com. Also might be worth a search for boost issues on that forum as there are heaps of discussions on gen2 tt setups.

From what I was told by mechanic all vacuum was passed by flowing all exhaust gas straight in to turbo 1.Someone explain this concept to me please. Why would you bypass? How do you bypass? What it achieves? I assume it's a diagnosis thing. Go!

From what i gather you have a 1st series TT so you have wastegates on both turbos. I would suggest clearing your ECU and starting again to see what code its throwing. My guess is as acres suggested is the Pressure Differential Sensor. Try find someone who has some spares and replace this sensor and if you can replace the entire solenoid clusterfuck, do that too. Can be had cheap, someone is surely using one as a door stop somewhere. The fault your having sounds like electrical dramas sourcing from a sensor or solenoid.
If anything mechanical within the system was naff you would know about it.
