Thought I took more but can't find any, Still need the new rims wrapped in some rubber to fit them, Got some help bleeding the brakes

Also took the car in for the CEL popping up more frequently and the car starting to feel shit, Turns out there was a new code for the Knock Sensor. Replaced it and car is feeling really good again, but still have a CEL every now and then.

The mechanic seems to think its something in the wiring, but will check if my spare neutral switch is the same and try swapping them as this is one of the cure to the issue I am having.

So I have an STI TMIC that I bought to upgrade my car with, But I am having alot of trouble trying to fit it.

The problem I have is the IC seems to big, as it is very close to the firewall and sits centimeters away from the throttle body... Does anyone have any tips to installing it? As all I can find is guides on how to install it into a GC8 but was under the impression it is the same into our GEN3 Libertys...

yeah i had to work mine to get it onto the gen 2. basically had to trim the coupling hose between the throttle body and cooler right down until they're almost touching each other. once it went on and tighten up the brackets it fit in snuggly with about 2cm's clearance from the firewall but never touching it.

Hmm I tried test fitting without the connector between the throttle body and cooler and they were touching and still didnt have enough room behind it lol, the back metal part of the hoses would touch the metal brake lines...

For now. Give it a few more weeks/months and you'll want to upgrade to something faster.

This Easter weekend was a little crap with all the rain here and down the bay, I wanted to go for a ride with my mates down to the bay....

Its funny how fun it is to ride that when I go somewhere I think of the longest and twistiest way to get there, I even ride to the other side of Canberra even though there is the same shop on my side haha.

I'm gonna be taking the car of the road and fix a few things up now that I have a bike so I can still get to work.

I have noticed that I have a bit of oil coming down the back of the sump, I assume this is either the sump seal is leaking or would it be more chance it being the rear main seal? As it doesn't leak all around the sump just the back of it.

Might finally get around to putting in the new ECU, AFM and boost controller also. I really wanted to sort out the check engine light but can't seem to figure it out, took it in and they found the knock sensor was stuffed but even with that replaced it still comes on.
