I don't think I want the full on screen and everything, just the frame itself...

I'm getting new number plates as well so I will look into it more when that comes around.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Been a while since I last updated the topic!

As some of you may know now, I have bought a new set of rims from Mark (CRUISN). I've heard nothing but good comments about them and it definitely gives the car an awesome look, not to mention the VW grey is quite unique and steers me clear of the typical black rims everyone tends to have at the moment (not a bad thing at all).

I personally think it matches the Atlantic Blue flawlessly and for $700, I reckon it was definitely money well spent. Not to mention I was gonna spend $540 on some new Kumho tyres anyway. I am currently on Federal Formoza FD2's and I honestly have nothing bad to say about them. Drivability is great and their is bugger all noise produced. Win-win! Managed to get a full wheel alignment as well and she's running perfectly. Here are a couple of pics after a quick wash yesterday afternoon:

If you look closely enough, you may find that I have a foglight missing from the driver's side of the car. I have finally taken the time to remove it to get it cleaned up! When I unplugged the bulb holder from it, the entire foglight was full of dirty yellow water and it seemed like everything metal inside was eaten away by rust. I did get it apart using my oven at 150° for approximately 10-15 minutes and personally I thought it was beyond repair so have been on the look out for a new one. Mark gave me a couple of links to some on eBay and I have now made a purchase. Hoping to get a second-hand one delivered next week. That ticks something that's been on the list since I purchased the car.

That pretty much sums up everything until now. I will be getting some new RDA brake discs from ICHIban soonish and will be installing my Hawk Performance Ceramics which I bought a couple of months ago too. In the meantime I think I should start selling a few things I don't need any more just to give me some more cash moneys to spend on this amazing car. New number plates will be coming in as well. I'm just deciding on whether to spend $275 + $99 per year thereafter for new ones or just $275 to get my current ones restyled...

Thanks for the read, support and help everyone has offered on my wagon so far. I couldn't ask for anything more from a lot of you!

Thanks mate. :D

Yes, it is slightly lowered compared to stock as SpecB's have the Bilstein suspension from factory. The rear is higher now than it was when I bought it as I've installed near new Bilstein suspension. They only had about 600 km on them when purchased.

Thanks man.

I'm trying to get my hands on a set of Hanabi taillights, they're just so hard to come by! I've been looking since I first bought the car. There are replica ones for sale from Mars Performance but they're $340! I have already bought STi taillights from Dan (dja) I just have to find time to pick them up... :P

The lights from Dan are just standard facelift lights. Theres no difference bewteen Sti and non.

Once you change the lights, you'll end up feeling the need to change the garnish between them also as the 04-06 one doesnt really work with the '07-'09 tail lights. ;)

I've been told the same thing. Doesn't matter, they still look good compared to the all red of mine. I was trying to find pics of whether it will match or not, and after seeing Nigel's (from club.liberty) Liberty, I can see that it's a little out of place. Not too bad in all honesty. It was really an impulse buy if I'm being completely truthful as I really am trying to find a set of Hanabi taillights. Gosh they're hard to get a hold of... As rare as hen's teeth.

I'm just hoping that hoff parts out his Liberty as there are definitely a few things I'd get off him. :D

You've got to be kidding me...

FIND ME SOME! I've searched daily for months and haven't had ONE pop up. Either that or I'm looking in the wrong place to begin with.

Same as above but via Import Monster.

http://www.importmon...pg&title=HANABi brand LED BP5

IMHO though, smoked ones would suit your car best. Its only when they come up s/h.

Valenti full led......

Thanks for the link RXJezza, but as Mark has said, I am after the smoked ones. Same ones as these.

They would look epic and would definitely suit the rest of my car. How does the Valenti brand compare to that of the smoked Hanabi taillights Mark? Any difference?

I think the Valenti's are a little better.

Ive had two sets of Hanabi's and both sets have had an LED or two fail.

The only thing is that there is a corner that's been chipped... Could that have a negative effect on the taillight's seals? Water might get into it...
