Hey all

I am in desperate need for a new set of tires for the outback due to baldness... I have 2 options that are about equally priced, the kumho ku31 and federal 595 (give or take $50)

I have had a set of the kumho's before and for a daily they are great but never had any experience with the 595's, what are people's opinions/likes/dislikes..?

I've got the Feds & have had the Kuhmo's.

Feds for the win. Far better.

So good in the wet.

Are you worried about the correct load rating?

I'd go the Federals too. I've had them, and they are awesome.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I've had 2 sets of RSR's and they are the best bang for buck.
at around $170 each, you can't really go wrong.

How many kms do you typically get from them? The RSR's are a soft tyre and on a heavy car.
Are they good in the wet?
Has anyone used the lower models? sorry to hijack bigboyscottyb but just digging up more info for both of us :)

I've had my rsrs for about 15,000ks and there still great. I've also had the cheapest 595s but they are no comparison to the rsr.
And only 35 cheaper per corner

Really? Can't find them on their store, got a link?

And how many kms are people getting out of their RS-Rs given they are (sort of) a semi-slick?

Just gonna throw this out there.

I'm running Nexen N6000's and they are by far the best bang for buck tyres I have ever had.

Compared to achillies STR sports, KU31's and 595's

You are a liar, go homes, takes a shower and washs the shames offs of you cause you sucks.

How about the lifespan/ threadlife on this tyres? Ive used ku31 tyres before and they are good, at the moment I've got on Bridgestone potenza. Any suggestion for a daily drive tyres?

I've got Bridgestone Potenza's as well. They were on the car when I bought it. How do they go compared to the others mentioned on this topic? My cousin told me that they are a pretty good tyre.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

Hi,

Potenza's are a very good tyre. You pay for them though!

Cheers,
Nik
