I think you will find that the veggies he are growing are for personal consumption.

At least you will know what they are being fed, what pesticides if any are being used on the plants (I know of an abo bloke back up the coast who is a real fuckwit shit cvnt, he sprays all his plants with fly spray before he dries and sells)

MY08 XT - Needed paint, Rear bar and a clutch. 18k. It's a write off, Boot floor is creased.

MY04 XT - Looked awesome, Completely standard other then a tune, towbar, roof racks and mrt rear muffler. Spotted a MRT sticker and ran for the hills.

MY02 GT - Perfect in every way, Wants 15.5k for it. Hmm.

MY00 GT - Forked paint, Forked gearbox, Fresh engine (V6 sti heads) and wants 12k for it - Going to offer him 10.
