With how popular the Subaru BRZ is, it’s understandable if you forget that the Japanese automaker has other models in its lineup.
But as a reminder, Subaru rolled out customized variants of its XV and Forester models, sporting matte paint jobs, styling accessories, and new wheels. On the bright orange XV, Subaru showed off its crossover utility by not lowering the vehicle to the ground while contrasting the aesthetics with matte black accents. Enkei wheels with a similar orange and black theme are wrapped with Yokohama Geolandar rubber to give it a rugged look.
The Forester Sport Concept on the other hand, got a treatment more fitting for the Tokyo Auto Salon. Suspension upgrades on 20-inch BBS wheels gives it a lowered stance, while the matte paint is contrasted by glossy black accents in the form of a skirt kit. Speaking of accents, the Japanese automaker gave the front grille a subtle touch that will quickly remind any Subaru enthusiast of the STI logo.
