Can any give advice on changing wheel bearings on a 3gen B4

What tools and procedures to remove and install the bearings.
I've had a look at the service manual about doing but I don't have most of the special tools such as press machine and so forth.
Just wondering if I can get it done with just getting tools from repco or something. Eg bearing puller and so on.

What I tend to do is take off the hub assembly at home. Take it & a $80 Repco bearing to a mechanic for pressing. Takes 10 mins & costs $20.

The bearing has to be pressed into the hub assembly then the center hub has to be pressed into the bearing.

= need a hydraulic press.

Try it yourself at home and you would most definitely Posted Image the new bearing.

Tools needed to remove hub assembly at home....
Jack Car stands etc
32mm socket for CV nut
breaker bar
19mm socket
19mm large spanner
14mm socket
12mm socket
punch to remove cv shaft pin
pickle fork for tie rods

I'm happy to tell you how to do it step by step if you want to do it this way.
Let me know.

I got mine done at the mechanics.

Cost around 250 bucks including parts if I remember right.
(Also for a B4)

I'm in newy
I got the hub off ready to get the bearig off just need to find some one to do it.
If I might say it was very eazy to dismantle the hub assembly. I thought I'd have to use a ball Joint remover but it just fell out. Not sure if I should be happy about that lol

I know that the rear just presses in/out of the bearing assembly which is a sealed unit held on by four bolts i lowered the diff to make it easier to get the drive shafts out the front still use standard type wheel bearing i think so the rings should just knock in out with a descent hammer and punch. use brass to avoid un nessesary damage
