I need to replace my boost line as the one I am using now is just plastic and is suffering from some shrinkage thanks to some intense TD05 powered heat. I need to fit a new boost gauge as well, so I am on the lookout for some good hose and any good gauge if someone wants to recommend one hehe :) For those of you who are running boost gauges - what type of hose are you using?

Hey man, I think most blokes are using some 1/8 irrigation hose. Or something of that sort. Anyway that what i've seen used.

Same for me.

Do you have a heat shield over the exhaust housing?

A heat shield or beanie may negate the need to use upgraded piping I used the white tubing supplied with the gauge, but i then grabbed some black (stealth) HD airline that the white tube fit in nicely mainly for protection, but also protects from heat.

Orright. I might take a gander on ebay now for a gauge and look at what hosing comes with it. I guess I can then go to bunnings to see what I can get to protect it.

B&M boost guage $80 @ autobarn guage is okay but the hose is the small plastic type and uses olives to seal the end where they connect. if u go with this measure carefully cut once and tighten the olives once as they get squashed when they are tightened. problem if hose is somewhere near heat it will need shielding and can crack or easy bent and the guage dosent work...had problems there with mine...

Yeah driver I am having the same problems with mine. I am after something that looks smick as well. Those autometer ones are more expensive than DEFI if you get the electrical full sweep ones ! Mechanical are around $100 ea. which is OK.
