Anyone on here own or have used the Pioneer AppRadio?
I was at JB hifi and saw this little head unit for under $300 and thought that's pritty cheep for what it offers.
Biggest down side is its got no CD player and its only iPhone 4 compatible. Apparently thats the sole reason on why its so cheep. It originally went for like over $700 when it was first released so it seems like a bit of a steal.
Its hard to get any deacent reviews for this, every you tube video gose on about the same shit that i dont care about. What i do wana know is how this thing hooks up to an amp withouit any pre outs? and dose it have time correction and a propper EQ.
I own a older AVIC system my self and im pritty happy with what im getting out of it so if its any comparable to it then i think i might give this a try.

Any thoguths?

i havent personally used one but know of three people who did and have all removed them and gone back to "normal" head units.

It has 1 preout, no Time Alignment/correction

They are ok, at the price they are now they are a bit more worth it, when they were $700 not a chance

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

I think the biggest advantage is the Google maps. i paied over 300 bucks for a map update for my AVIC and it done nothing. Also you can use the satalite view giving a full photo topography.
only down side of the mapping system is it feeds off your phone so no reception no position.

All in all i think it might be worth trying being at a low price. Just looks like a night mare to wire up to a B4 though.
Will the premade harness adapters work with this?

Probably, but I have a feeling the stock mcintosh amp in the B4 doesn't like aftermarket HUs... can anyone confirm?

Also anyone know if there's a differences between the SPH-DA01 and the SPH-DA100 ?
for what i know is just the diferant look, but i think the DA100 has its own GPS receiver? well it has its own GPS antenna port so im assuming its got its own GPS receiver

I think the DA100 would fit right in with the B4 dash silver trim

Just from the pics, it seems like the second one has more features (judging from the buttons and you mentioning the GPS) and the display is a higher resolution.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

These things are junk. Old Toyota units with new facias and new software, On old hardware. They are SOOOO slow and laggy.

Spend the extra money and buy a AVH pioneer unit.

Just my two cents.

I agree with this.

Read up on the DA100 it's got the same Rez but bigger screen. It's iPone 5 compatible and meny to be a lot faster.
Inly reason I'm interested in it is because it dose have some pretty cool fetures.
But I'm planing on running a pioneer DEX-P99rs with it.
