Watchable then, thanks ams.
Ash, we all missed you. Cypress Hill is pretty sweet as well.
Started detailing the Focus this weekend. Headlights are 1000% better but still far from perfect. Acid washed the alloys to get rid of many years of brake dust and neglect. Started on the interior this arvo.
me it amazes me just how feral people are with their interiors. The build up of grime that I took off the steering wheel and door trim was just rank.
I'm two hours into the interior and I've only done the drivers space ie dash, door, console. And the leather sections on the seat. Still need to shampoo e fabric sections. I'm going to get in there with the air duster and blow all the crap out of the gaps and seat rails and such tomorrow. The. Vacuum and shampoo the carpets, and clean the headlining. It's going to be a big effort, but it'll be worth it as the interior isin reasonably good condition. It's just filthy.
Nice work man, and I agree. Some people have no care in the world for their car, let alone the interior. I am lucky that mine was pretty clean. Not perfect, but a lot better then you have described. How are you gonna go about cleaning the headlining? Mine has marks and fingerprints and what not on it and I really wanna get rid of it. I was thinking a steam vacuum or something (does that exist?), but what will you be using and how easy is it?
I haven't got pics of mine but it's just years of having kids in the car (I bought the wagon from an active sports-oriented family).
Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille
