I couldn't stand not having a TV.

I have 2 at the moment.

After being at work all day I could probably do without it :D

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Yeah we had foxtel and it sucked...

I used to work for FetchTV, so I'd spend all day watching TV, testing it, so I didn't like the TV on when I went home...

I use my Laptop for Games... since its quite a high spec, so it does the job..

TV was distracting the baby, who at 1, could turn the TV on and use the foxtel remote, and wouldn't eat unless she was sitting infront of the TV... not good, so we got rid of it and now she is better... :)

I still do watch movies on the laptop, anime(naruto) on the trains to and from work, so its not too bad... :)

we have foxtel in the Man cave downstairs of our house. dad loves it, always something he wants to watch on, normally the sports. i normally go through every now and then and just set whatever i want to watch to record, alot of sports and documentaries is mainly what i watch.

My laptop isnt the greatest spec, only use it for editing photos really though, PS3 has all the games i want to play.

can see your reasons for getting rid of it though! very valid

We have had foxtel for about 13 years here and I am pretty sure I have watched it all of about 3 times in the last 7 years

Thanks man... most ppl think we are nuts, but it makes sense for the baby... she is reading books too at 1.5 years old, which is pretty good...

Yeah I'm in IT, so my laptops are all top spec... :)

Thats exactly the problem.... its always a repeat... even when they say its a new season or something on discovery, i've seen it like 5 years before...

Thats awesome mate! I'll bring my Laptop and my spare hard drive to the cruise... and see if we got time... :)

Hope you have a good battery... haha

I only use my TV for Xbox. There's no aerial or anything else plugged in :)

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Yep, i've got a 42" and PS3 in the mancave, with 1 leather massaging recliner. Its awesome. Doesn't get that much more relaxing then that. But, I do need to get a stable table or similar to hold my beverages.

We had an awesome setup going the other night when we nerded it up and got Blops 2 going. 42", 60" and 23" all running seperate PS3s.

Ha... all good... the wife used to watch the Christian channel on there, but it too became repeats... so got rid of it.. was getting it free from optus for the first year, then cancelled it... LOL!

Hope you have a good battery... haha

Maybe I'll bring my laptop and my netbook... lol...

Netbook has a crazy good battery... like on eco mode, its like 8 hours plus with wifi on thoguh... lol... should be enough... I'll get the most recentl seasons... I think I have seen till season 14 though.. :)

Before watching my anime on trains, I was watching all the top gear eps... so many people would watch it over my shoulder... :)

Lol. The street my branch is on, has lost power on the other side of the street. So ANZ, CBA and Westpac are all blacked out, and we, FOR ONCE, aren't.

Yeah I wouldn't mind it for sports thats for sure, but the folks want the basic package, that they never watch, silly old people.

Mark - I haven't been playing that much Blops lately. I've been sucked into Skyrim! 38 hours in, and I still havent finished the main storyline. I have slayed about 12 dragons though.

parents pay for the foxtel, so no real worry to me about the cost of it actually. we are in probably one of the worst spots around for internet as well, right at the end of the exchange lines or something, so we get horrible speeds. telstra still wont fix it.

Shaz could never get in to skyrim for some reason, never liked the story line or that.

are you going to get the new GTA later this year?

I'm a huge fan of in depth RPGs, so that game nails it for me. Can't wait for the online version to come out.

I should finally buy COD...
But, Borderlands 2 is where it's at! True Vault Hunter mode is insane.
