Yeah... bro, check your oil aye...

If it goes away after five seconds it really just sounds like vapour...

ANYWAY.

I'M GOING TO GET THIS OFF MY CHEST, AS I DO EVERY YEAR.

I was resisting the urge to bore you all with my views, but they just sent me a fuckin' email so fuckit. Here it is.

Anzac Day and Good Friday
trading conditions
Licensees are reminded of their obligations regarding
trading on Anzac Day and Good Friday as set out in
the Liquor Control Act 1988.
Good Friday (March 29):
Hotels, taverns and small bars are required to close at midnight
on Thursday, March 28 – trading is only permitted on Good Friday
if liquor is sold and supplied ancillary to a meal supplied by the
licensee between the hours of 12 midday and 10pm.
Hotels may sell and supply liquor to lodgers at any time.
Nightclubs are permitted to trade until 3am on Good Friday –
they cannot resume normal trading until 6pm, Saturday, March 30.
Restaurants can trade at any time on Good Friday subject
to normal trading conditions (that is, only ancillary to a meal).
Liquor without a meal permits do not apply on Good Friday.
Clubs are authorised to trade until 12.30am on Good Friday,
but only if liquor is sold and supplied ancillary to a meal supplied
by the licensee. No other trading is authorised.
Producers are only permitted to trade on Good Friday if liquor is
sold and supplied ancillary to a meal supplied by the licensee in a
specified dining area between the hours of 12 midday and 10pm.
Liquor stores and wholesalers are not permitted to trade on
Good Friday.
The permitted trading hours under a club restricted licence and
a special facility licence are specified in the licence conditions.
Licensees should check their licence document to ascertain if
they are authorised to trade on Good Friday.

THAT'S RIGHT!

Our great state, which prides itself on being welcoming and multicultural and not bias towards one religion is STILL enforcing a law based around a single religion. Some fuckwit on the radio just said "I don't know why people think it should change, it's how it's always been, and if you can't go a day without a drink then shame on you anyway" - REALLY BITCH? TRY OWNING A BUSINESS THAT SELLS SOMETHING, AND THEN FOR NO FUCKIN' REASON WHAT SO EVER, HAVE THE GOVERNMENT TELL YOU CAN'T OPEN FOR TRADE, BUT, YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY EVERY ROSTERED STAFF MEMBER A WAGE, EVEN THOUGH THEY CAN'T COME TO WORK!

Posted Image RIGHT OFF.

The Fringe Benefit Tax year runs from April to March.

If my FBT card has money in it when the year rolls over, I lose that amount at the end of the next FBT year.

Forgot to empty it yitterday and now I'm hoping the transaction goes through before the holidays start!

Ah I see, so you used the card to buy the Coles voucher. Got ya! :D

No it bloody doesn't. Same as Christmas. I bloody love Christmas for all it can be to a non religious person, family and all that crap. But how you can stand up and tell the world you're an embracing and tolerant society, and then impose legislation that is completely one hundred percent derived from a single religion is beyond me.

Even Sunday trading is a mission in WA! They basically said we can do it, then jacked the wage bill up so high because "working on a weekend is an anti-social work roster". REALLY? If people get a job in hospitality and then whinge about working weekends I just want to smack the Posted Image out of them.

I could go on, but the Doc said I need to watch my blood pressure!

I made a similar thread a couple years ago. Mine does the same with the smoke on occasion. It's mostly white and will stop after a second. But I have seen a blue tinge in it. You'll find a thousand videos on youtube of turbo subaru's doing the same. Should have seen it a few days after an upper engine clean.

Yeah that sounds like mine... was there a solution for it? Or does it still happen?

Crazy days Nik. It was a joke when i was waiting tables in QLD...they had a million drunken/pissed off QUEENSLANDERS all booted out onto the street at Midnight on the Thursday night prior to good Friday...not a good idea, and a pretty shit look for the dozens of resort type buildings lining the same strip of road...

I gotta agree... I mean I'm a Christian, but I don't think they should impose such laws on businesses, because it affects people trying to make a living. Also that point about wages... well if a person wants to work in that industry and work weekends, thats their choice... If they wanted weekends free, they shouldn't have taken that job.. so why does the employer have to compensate them for their choice?

I can't really talk though, I work extra time at work, or from home and don't get paid extra, coz I'm on a salary

...in other news, my 1st job of the day started and ended pretty much at the same time...They have this Blue Heeler puppy...it is neglected and bored beyond words...I have spoken to the owners about it many times...I refuse to put up with people that can't look after their Dog. So they can find a Gardener that doesn't give a Posted Image, but I do.

Letting it idle for a bit after a hard drive will help. B4's are getting old now, motor works hard, primary turbo works hard. Both are likely worn, but I get the feeling its turbo related with mine. 2 years later, still drives fine, screw the hippies its just cold start smoke.

How the hell do you have 1225 posts when I have been on here 2 years and only have 1407 lol.

Thanks man... I will try to let it idle for longer after each drive... think a turbo timer would be useful in this case... so might look into that... I don't think its cold start smoke, but I'd like to believe it was... lol... yeah I'm thinking the engine and turbos are getting old... 200,000kms after all... so yeah... will have to be nice to her more... Hope she lasts me for a few more years... then I'll look at getting something else... :)

And yeah mate... like Nik said... Power poster... winner last month, but don't think I'll be heading to MDSC to pick up my prize, dont' want to end up like Walt... LOL!

Nah, I'm on here most of my day at work, and on GT a lot, so I get to talk alot with the regulars... Nik must be sick of seeing my avatar...

Holy crap Morgs, that's insane... Not everyday you see that. I've seen a guy stack it on his motorbike though. If my memory serves me correctly it was a Ducati.

Spider rabbit it is. I shall check it out. Mum is asking for help to catch it, ha ha.
