transmission is same an engine. Drain, refill (remember to put plug back in first!) -  get the intercooler off so you can access the hole and use a funnel.

Diff is more awkward - get the back up as high as you can, and flat or sloped downhill slightly.

I used an 80ml syringe to do the diff. Its only 800ml capacity, so ten squirts and it was done. Fill till it starts coming back out the top hole. That pump looks nifty, though.

Diff plugs are usually pretty tight - I had to use a breaker bar to start both of mine.

Yes.. I figured.. my 1/2 drive wasn't good enough and was a little loose. Felt like I was gonna strip the rear diff fill hole.. Had to borrow a heavy duty one which had its own adjustable breaker bar. Still it was pretty tough...in the end I had my foot on the inside of the tyre for support...

Yes that pump is really nifty...lay on my back with 800ml of fluid and pumping a million times.

:P

Also i reused the gearbox crush washer. Hopefully it doesnt leak. It looks fine after a drive..
Haven't done the brake fluid yet...need to buy a fuel filter later on too...

Yes...the most recent change is the blacked out bumper pillar under the number plate..cam got it right. Lol

Some gen3 owners have blacked out the whole section below the number plate but I thought id just black out that small pillar..ive always thought it looked a little out of place.

I swear gen3 batteries last forever....my one was the original and I only changed it before I sold it....that was nearly two years ago? So ten to eleven solid years of life before it just gave up one arvo lol

Thats almost unheard of these days!
