Anyone on Xbox One got the Star Wars Battlefront Beta yet? Anyone keen for a game tonight?

 

My internet has been dropping out all day. Can't get the download finished yet alone getting into a game

i'm liking it so far. doesn't seem to have a lot of depth to the game play but i guess its aimed at kids and first time FPS players but with enough elements for people who play that stuff more often. Im sure the full game will have a lot more to it than the beta does too, hopefully. Running on Frostbite 3 the mechanics are obviously going make it feel a lot like Battlefield 4 and Hardline.

Played the rainbow six beta (won a code from IGN) pretty average imo.

Nah, I have a legit fear of zombies, so my wife doesn't let me play those games, because next thing you know I'm at Bunnings buying my survival kit.

 

Might buy Madden 2015.

So many games!

 

Trying to figure it all out and what order to play them in. I picked up MGS5 this arvo so my plan now till xmas is play that till NFS. Finish NFS then go back to MGS5. Then hopefully get Assassins creed for xmas.

Don't know if I am a complete fan of Stars Wars Battlefront to be honest... I've played the Beta a couple of times.

New Need for Speed is pretty on point. Disappointing that there is no incar view, and the handling is a bit arcade-ish (However you can fine tune literally EVERYTHING). 

 

Car selection isn't bad for a launch title (Apparently more coming in the future) but the real winner is the amount of modifications you can do to the car. My god. Everything, wheel size, stance, exhausts, turbos, ecu, wiring, superchargers, intercoolers,fuel system, block boring, intake, cams, heads, clutch, box, diff, etc the list goes on. You can challenge random people in the open world to drifting, dragging, outrun, etc etc etc. The cut scenes blew me away, I think they are live action, with CGI dubbed over it, that makes it look ultra realistic. Story is a bit meh, but its kinda alright. 

 

I would rate a 8.5/10.

i haven't got the full game yet but have been playing the beta/demo for a few weeks and am a fan (but i really like all the NFS games). i actually love that its really arcadie, much like forza horizon. with all the modding and stuff it reminds me a lot of NFS underground 2 which was the first one i got in the series. i did like carbon and most wanted but this new one is all about the mods again which is awesome. imo the story is horrible but the game itself seems great. i'll probably try and grab the full version this weekend. 

 

i wish fallout 4 would hurry up.

I played it since I got off work yesterday until bed. Damn good game and almost a return to form. Some little issues hold it back in my eyes but its the best NFS since underground 2.
