If you have the standard B4 calipers paint them black. IMO you only show off your calipers if they are worth showing off haha

Mine are brake dust with a bit of corrosion, I find it really makes the ladies swoon. But if I had a black car with gold wheels, and a set of proper brakes. I would go for something in the yellow spectrum, like a darker gold than the wheels, or bronze. Maybe even bright yellow, because supercar.

Blaaack.

Black calipers with gold decals behind gold wheels on a black car.

Thats my opinion.

Hey I'm thinkin of doin same paint my callipers curious are they easy to take off and I have gun metal grey wrx 99 model any colour recommendations and paint to use?

Also as I'm changin my rotors after takin old ones off is there any harm in wire brushing the hub piece from behind where they sat and givin a coat of cold gal?

Really easy to remove, most annoying part is having to re bleed if you completely remove the caliper (which I suggest you do to avoid overspray and makes it easier to paint). Just make sure you can have the car off the road for a few days.

Undo the 2 bolts holding the caliper on to the hub at the back, clamp your brake lines, disconnect the banjo bolt and there you go.

What colour are the wheels?

Yea would look nice. Or colour matched calipers with silver decals. I used Killrust epoxy enamel, you could try VHT caliper paint. Places will mix up custom colours for, just take your paint code to them

GOLD CALLIPERS ON GOLD WHEELS

From these pictures, omg, black!!

My mate just sprayed his gold, grey/dark silver colour liberty wagon, the Spec-B silver rims, looks good and all, but now he's wanting to get new wheels and go a radical colour along the lines of red.... Gold just aint gonna work no more. If you go black, you won't have a problem in the future regarding a change in wheels/colour of wheels.
