well its started, the 92 leggy engine is out and on the stand, the 04 engine is ready to go and bolted to the box and the loom is in for the most part, once i have sorted a few small issues the engine willl be dropped in and started :D

04 wrx clutch master, slave and lines installed, as well as the hybrid loom.

few specs:
VF23 with rotated housing
550cc sti injectors
CAI in guard
silicone intake
HKS stainless 1 piece up pipe
exedy HD clutch
MRT bilet flywheel
Al's loom
05 wrx ecu, immobiliser and ign barrel/ key.
04 wrx 4.44 box and diff incl all shafts
Flipped core FMIC with revised piping for the 04 manifold

thanks mate, its the only one iver ever seen so i jumped at it , it needed a heap of repairs when i got it though . as it was from a half cut and was trashed in the container.

Who would of thought this car could get any better! Question: What else is going in from the 04 WRX? Apart from the engine and gearbox? What suspension have you got?

Previous: 97 Gen 2 Liberty wagon, 89 NA MX5, 88 Toyota Cresta. Current: 04 turbo MX5, 02 Foz GT.

already have coil overs, and the rears were shagged from the 04, the whole drive line is going in, but all the electrics are from an 05 as the loom, immob unit and fuel pump controller were all burnt, so i had to source new items. also gong in is a whiteline 22mm rear swaybar to ditch the original pencil.

its running now !!!! has been for a day, wooo! so now i just have to get the exhaust modified and oxygen sensor relocated.
