Anyone know if there is a way to get more rear travel out of the front seats?

Hahaha, and you know it! As far as I know mate there isn't. Not unless you pull the rails off and weld the seat to the floor.... How much powaaahhz does your RX make again ;)

Sure can.... Won't be getting a new car for a while. When I do though, it will be bigger than the RX

Im not entirely sure, but if its serious, then the original question would be why?

Im a tad taller than you and all they way back with the Gen3 seats in the Gen2 is perfect for me, unless the seat mounts in the Gen2 are further back?

Yeah, original question is whether I can get more travel. I think that the seat mounts in the Gen2 might be further back. When Paul was in my car the other week, he commented on the lack of room in the front foot well. Sorry for the confusion, it was tainted by Paul whoring on about Commodores again! LOL

Pull the passenger seat out and have a look to see if you can move/elongate the mounting holes on the rails. I doubt youd get extra though.

Well, I ripped the passenger seat out today to see if there was a way to do this and it looks as though it's a no. Would probaby need to get new rails. I'm glad I had a look though as it looks like the previous owner had replaced the inner rear bolt with an incorrent one! It was just hanging loose in it's little home. Anyone know where I can get a replacement? Needs to be high tensile. I had a look in Bunnings, but no joy. Autobarn? Bursons? Subaru Dealer?

What size bolt is it? Take it to fastener specialist (sounds like a **** I know). Either that or get the correct size for me and I'll tax one from work for you. <-------------- Or just cut the chase..... :P

LOL - I don't think I want a Coomoodoor!! I think it's a 10mm and about 25mm long. But it has some tight thread on it. I think I'll go exploring at a wreckers for a replacement.

What's a V8 got to do with anything ya big dolt?!?!? I really don't think any engine size will fix my missing bolt problem... LOL

LOL, you're killing your own thread. If all else fails, send me the bolt and i'll sort you out. IIRC, you're right. The seats do have a really fine thread.
