Bit of a tedious question, but meh.... Just wanting to get the specific names of the parts require for a new rear swaybar setup. (Whiteline) I think I've figured that I need the swaybar, some links and some bushes, but what are the specific names or part numbers I need or quantity levels? When ordering the bushes and links from the whiteline site, to they come in singular form or in pairs?

When you order a rear sway bar kit for your car, they supply everything needed to fit it. Although you have to order the Heavy Duty alloy links seperately.

Thanks Paul. Do the links come as a set or seperately?

As a set mate. Set of two that is. The kit has all the bolts and instructions needed to fit them correctly. You can't get it wrong.

Yeah they look right. Make sure they're for the right year model though. The Gen3 has a different rear end setup. Multi-link rather than the strut setup the Gen2 has. I'm not sure, but the mounting points may be different.

I really really recomend doing the front as well. There is massive gains to be had there. You won't believe how much it changes the car. That coupled with some stiffer struts/coil overs and you have a go-kart on your hands. Just a pitty a conversion is so economically retarded its not funny.

Yeah, I will do the front, just not at the same time as the rear... Will get the sways done, then look at struts/coils. I don't even want to humour the thought of a conversion!!!

Really begs the question though. Are you really going to get the use out of the mods?

When going around corners I'd say I would. I've noticed now that I have the 17's on and better rubber that the back end get's a bit floaty around corners.

True. I don't know about the gen3's. But the Gen1/2's are like go-karts when the suspension is well sorted. Gen3's are somewhat hevier though.
