hey guys,

so i recently bought a 2007 liberty 3.0r spec b and it has the mcintosh stereo. i noticed it has the aux button on the headunit but doesnt have a aux jack. so i did a little bit of research and found it is possible to have the jack however it is a extra from factory and is not a standard aux cable that plugs into the back of the headunit. if anyone has any information on what i need to put one in myself it would be appreciated

cheers Andrew

Yay you joined. quickly do an introduction thread here man: http://www.subyclub....-introductions/

Hey man I got some replies from liberty.asn and they said that nothing is known yet of putting just a straight AUX Jack into the rear of the head unit. Nor no knowledge of splicing it into another wire so it can fit in the connection.

They said that the "Anycarlink" only costs $120. And that has ipod/USB/SD/3.5mm aux/bluetooth Inputs so its pretty kitted out and wouldn't be too hard to install!

This is cheaper but only if you have a CD changer port...

I wouldn't mind adding an auxiliary port into my car either. Will look into the options stated above but wouldn't mind hearing if anyone here has done it before.

Wanting to buy/looking for: single genuine STi rim, genuine STi front lip, Corazon or Zero/Sports grille and another OEM grille

Can you hook a brother up? Please contact me now. I have cash ready.

I have done this, you need the factory AUX cable that runs from the headunit to the centre console, you can purchase them online or through subaru, its very simple to do its plug and play, the hardest part is pulling appart the dash and the center console and there are some walkthroughs for that

All the best
